We are seeking a 1st Shift Welder to join our team and help drive our continued success. This role plays an important part in supporting our customers, strengthening our business, and contributing to the long-term growth of Douglas Dynamics.
Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written “job instructions” or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the company’s lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Actively participates in a team environment. Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards.
