We are seeking a 1st shift Robot Specialist!
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
To operate, program, maintain, set up, optimize and troubleshoot welding robots and robot tooling for all phases of production.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. 2-5 years of formal robotic programming or training a plus
Technical Skills: Demonstrated understanding, knowledge, and proficiency of MIG welding with ability to establish weld settings to optimize weld quality and meet standards. Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic operation of robots and fixtures. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and basic electrical/electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics. Ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, tool room machines, and precision measuring devices. Previous experience programming robots a plus.
Computer Skills: Functional proficiency with spreadsheet/word processing programs.
Physical Demands: Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials. Must be able to move around safely in the manufacturing environment. May lift up to 50 pounds with good body mechanics.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
