We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

Receives and ships incoming and outgoing product and delivers product to appropriate areas.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Move material/pallets manually or with a forklift.
• Prepare product for shipment. i.e., assemble boxes, assemble wooden crates, use stretch wrap machine or bander to secure products to pallets
• Load daily outgoing product on common carriers.
• Verify all products unloaded/loaded for count accuracy and good quality.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Assist other shipper/receivers when needed.
• Perform 5S activities.
• Work as a team member and on your own.
• Load various types of trucks.
• Operate a variety of forklifts safely in a fast paced, congestive environment.
• Comprehend and process required paperwork. i.e., packing slips, picking tickets, BOL etc.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed
• Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Physical requirements

• Vision; near; distance, color, peripheral and depth perception
• Able to stand and walk
• Able to reach above shoulders and outward
• Able to bend, squat and crawl
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Wear personal protective equipment properly such as
  • Eyewear – Safety Glasses always, Face Sheild as operation requires.
  • Hearing protection
  • Safety shoes with metatarsal guards
  • Breathing apparatuses
  • Gloves
