We are seeking a Sales Project Specialist.

JOB SUMMARY: This role requires providing comprehensive support to the Sales teams to promote outside sales, operations, and customer service for our entire customer base. This position plays a crucial role in the company's growth and profitability, requiring constant communication and coordination with our sales and sales support teams. This position will be the sales department liaison for all reporting, customer master, and special project needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following.

  • Aiding the sales staff to support the company's sales growth initiatives through the implementation of enhanced analytics, processes & procedures.
  • Create, maintain & improve reporting to be used by all levels of the organization. Provide input, interpret and deliver comprehensive message to improve data-driven decision making.
  • Responsible for all customer master data setup to ensure accurate customer relationships are established, providing a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure communication to customer base is clear, timely and being sent accurately.
  • Responsible for data collection, entry, analysis and reporting for field inventory.
  • Process improvement of field inventory collection, working with cross-functional team members to build systems and processes that improve the customer experience.
  • Maintain & improve reporting on Points of Pain and communicate cross-functionally to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously improve training documentation for internal Sales and Sales Support team members by creating and improving Standard Operation Procedure documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:

Education:

  • Associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in related technical field, or relative experience
  • 3-5 years direct experience in truck equipment industry preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence. Ability to effectively interpret business activity and respond appropriately.

Computer Skills:

  • Technological skills required with knowledge in data organization/usage tools and systems, including but not limited to SQL coding, BI, and Salesforce.
  • Technological skills required with knowledge of operation’s manufacturing software (TCM,) as well as Microsoft products, including Excel and Word in Windows environment.
  • Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player within the organization.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to talk and hear.
  • The employee will frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, and grasp.
  • May be required to lift 40 lbs or less.

Work Environment:

  • Normal office environment or may be exposed to noise if working in a production area.
